Yin yang in all things.

Perhaps what they say is true, there's balance in life. Apart from the usual lessons, we had a host of after lesson activities.

The local students organised a friendly basketball match and invited us to take part. The way the played made me impressed and I pondered over them. I realise that when one actually has the free time and bothers to spend that free time regularly playing sports, he/she gets good at it over time. In Singapore, nobody even has that kind of time to spend. Perhaps Singaporeans should learn to take a step back and relax from the busy world, this die-hard working attitude could possibly kill us all in the long run.

After the match, we headed to 小区 to check out their mahjong den. Amazingly, most people here play with automatic tables, whereby tiles are shuffled and arranged for you with just a press of a button. Local mahjong here is different from the typical Cantonese style mahjong that we play in Singapore. They lack the big tiles such as the four winds and three scholar tiles. They do not even contain the eight flower and four animal bonus tiles. This made playing a little complex but we continued to play nonetheless. After playing awhile, we all felt hungry and headed back to the campus for a nice dinner at the corner stall just below of dormitories.
