中秋节快乐!

This was the first time I celebrated a traditional festival overseas, and the experience is unforgettable. Thankfully, the weather is now cool and the temperature makes everything very comfortable.

Everyone gathered today for the last practice session before the actual performance tonight. This time, with the full arrangement, the music finally came together and it was a good practice run. I believe with this, everyone is prepared.

Show time! The performance started off with much cheers and on a high note. As the items proceeded, our items got nearer. My first item was the combined set up of Harold and myself along with two guys from the guitar club. Surprisingly, I was not nervous at all, not even when I went up to perform. The song we were performing was a Cantonese song, and the song is actually very popular with the students here. Everyone sang along with the song and enjoyed it. When the song ended, the crowd went into cheers. We took a breather and awaited for our next item which was the song we prepared so hard for.

The song was well performed and the crowd enjoyed it, although I have no idea how many of them actually understood the lyrics. The crowd came down after our performance and interacted with us, taking photos and conducting interviews. We had loads of laughter and fun! I guess everyone enjoyed themselves that night.

The night ended in a high note with a happy dinner/supper and everyone had a good night's rest.
