The first of October, China's national day! Happy National Day China! Today hosted a lot of unforgettable events for me. IS lesson today was conducted by 刘老师, a friendly teacher. He is a very nice guy and is very sociable with us. Though his topic was a very dry topic about politics and stuff, he made the lesson interesting with videos. After lesson, he brought some of them to the nearby town to buy fireworks, firecrackers and 芤明灯.
Meanwhile, I was back in the dormitory, thinking about whether I should dye my hair. Eventually, I made he choice to dye it and headed down to the saloon. There, I met a few of us and the saloon staff and we all chatted while the dyeing was done. I chose golden brown after going through the list of colours. The dyeing process took quite long as the dye needed time to settle into the hair, but the results were awesome! I love it!
After dyeing my hair, it was time to head out to the river to release the fireworks and 芤明灯. I extended my invitation to the saloon staff to join us and everyone enjoyed it. Though the fireworks was a little disappointing, we still had fun releasing the lanterns.
This is a day worth to remember! 01/10/10!
