There was no lesson in the morning, as the time for allocated for a short trip to 广汉. I did not follow them and chose to stay back in school as I wanted to stay in bed and catch up for the lost sleep and much needed rest. Afternoon lecture was scheduled after the shopping trip and this was when I realised our dilemma. After lesson ended, I needed to ease myself after holding for the whole length of the lesson. I rushed to the toilet only to find one of my friends there. After easing myself I glanced at my friend, noticing that he was fiddling with the tap. Puzzled, I went to try out the other taps. None of them were working!? We even popped over to the ladies and try the taps there, all were dry!? This was when calls came from our friends who headed back to the dorms, they could not flush! This was when we realise that there was no water!!! Our worst fear was confirmed when our lecturer received a call informing that the water pipe that feeds the water to the campus has burst. WOW! Great ... now we have no water ... As an interim measure, we had to purchase bottled water to bathe and for sanitary purpose, how cool is that?!
The night lecture turned out to be very interesting but most of us were dozing off during the lesson, so I guess there will not be a second time to this. Oh well, it was a good experience!
